It’s that time of the year again when we buy our loved ones a gift in the name of love and St. Valentine.  Although I’d always recommend a romantic love letter as a superb Valentine’s Day gift, I know that many of us also enjoy giving something a bit more commercial as a sign of our love.

The great news is that it is easy to find a unique, memorable or just fun Valentine’s Day present online.  To give you some ideas, I’ve scoured the pages of Amazon and compiled this list of gifts for the special lady in your life.  And don’t worry ladies, I have also compiled a similar list of great online Valentine’s Day gifts for guys.

Perhaps one of these items looks like the perfect gift for her.  For unique and romantic anniversary gift ideas we recommend The Eternity Rose.

If not, I bet these ideas will get your mind working and allow you to find the online gift that your spouse, fiance or girlfriend will really enjoy.

2. Kama Sutra Weekender Kit

If you are looking for something a bit less traditional, you may want to check out this Kama Sutra Strawberry Dreams Weekender Kit.  It contains an assortment of oils, balms, dusts, lubricants and, yes, a feather duster.  And it consists of travel-size portions so you can bring it with you on your next trip away from home as well…or stow it away in your bedside table 🙂

3. Jewelry

It is hard to go wrong with some nice jewelry, and I thought this Garnet Glass Heart Pendant looked pretty sweet.  And you don’t need to break the bank either – Amazon’s got an amazing selection of jewelry and super reasonable prices.

4. A Great Book

Again, I don’t think you can wrong with most women by giving them a great book.  Of course, you can find any book you can think of at Amazon, but I’d encourage you to give a gift that truly keeps on giving.  A book aimed at improving your relationship, such as The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts is a gift to your long-term happiness well beyond Valentine’s Day.

5. Kindle Fire HD.

Honestly, there is no better way to expand your mind than reading, and a well-read spouse is a better spouse in my opinion.  The Kindle Fire HD opens up the world of books both through Amazon and your local library (check out those great books found in this post to get started), plus it plays HD movies and lets you surf the web all from the same device.

  1. Dustin,

I must suggest dance lessons as a possible Valentine gift. Like all gifts, it is not for everyone. Many men and even some women are resistant to learn to dance. But I’ve known quite a few people who, when willing to go outside their comfort zone and try it, were really glad that they did.

Dancing is a great activity for married couples because it emulates scriptural instructions for marriage. The couple works together in partnership, each fulfilling a unique, specific role that is equally important to the dance. It is active and fun, and research has shown that learning something new together can add a spark to your relationship. Those reasons are just the beginning; I’ve written more reasons to learn here: http://wp.me/ppXmN-2I

Gotta say, getting a Kindle for a present would be awesome as well as loading it with some books! I heard the same idea but with an ipod and loading up some of their favorite music. Both are very creative and thoughtful ideas! Good article Dustin thanks for sharing!
