I've been through several of these trials in the past few years, and I have to agree wholeheartedly with your last statement: Serving your spouse when they are sick is one of the most selfless things we can do. I was reminded of this again last night when we attended a benefit for a close family friend who has terminal ovarian cancer. Her husband is a true hero. Thanks for sharing, Derek.
