Great suggestion, Melissa! I try to be giving both monetarily and in service throughout the year, but it would be a great family tradition to help those outside of our families as part of our Christmas celebration.

Next year, I’d like to make part of our Christmas gift to each other a donation to a charity. How great would it feel to wake up on Christmas morning knowing that a little one out there somewhere is opening a present because of you, or that your donation to St. Jude’s helped save a child’s life? I don’t think there could be any better gift than that.
